About the role

We are seeking to appoint an Access Communication Support Worker  to provide BSL support for children and young people who are Deaf or hearing impaired. 

This position is countywide across Northamptonshire.

1 FTE ACSW, The salary is Grade G (£22557 - £23788), this is a full time salary. As this post is term time only, the salary will be pro rata.

What will you be doing?

This will involve working specifically  in early years settings and with families in their homes to develop the signing and communication skills for children aged 0-4 yrs.

This will include developing a range of communication approaches, checking audiology equipment, and working closely with Teachers of the Deaf.

About you

A level 2 minimum BSL qualification is essential.
