1 FTE ACSW to commence Sep 4 2023
We are seeking to appoint an Access Communication Support Worker (ACSW) to provide British Sign Language (BSL) support for children and young people who are D/deaf or hearing impaired. This will involve working in schools to support students to access the curriculum.
What will you be doing?
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sensory Impairment Service who deliver an excellent service to children and young people who have a range of sensory impairments. We are looking for individuals that are passionate about supporting young people who are D/deaf or hearing impaired.

About you
The post holder will travel across both West Northants and North Northants Councils to work in schools
A level 2 minimum BSL qualification is essential
This is a fixed term post, initially for a year.
Interviews: Week beginning 10th July.
