About the role

We are seeking an Administrator Level 2 for processing Free School Meal (FSM) and Pupil Premium (PP) applications for North Northants Council and West Northants Council within fast-paced busy team. The post is full time 37 hours per week, with working remotely following full training.

What will you be doing?

Administrator - Primarily delivering Free School Meals programme using Capita ONE portal, also providing administrative supporting the wider Team as required across other areas within NNC

 

Strategy – complying with the requirements of the DfE’s free school meal and pupil premium agenda and Council policies and systems when allocating applicants in North Northamptonshire and West Northamptonshire schools.

 

Stakeholders – liaising with staff in schools as required in line with any SLA in place and with parents to achieve timely responses to applications.

 

About you

The successful candidate will be able to work in an agile, flexible manner with accuracy when under pressure and working to tight timescales.

Time management and prioritising abilities are essential, along with excellent communication and organisational skills to providing exceptional customer service.

You are someone who can build effective working relationships with colleagues, schools, parents, and public organisation.

You will enjoy working as part of a team; therefore, it is imperative that you are a good team player, whilst also being able to work unsupervised. 

Significant experience in using various IT packages is essential.

You will be comfortable working in a busy working environment, able to demonstrate great attention to detail in maintaining records and working to statutory deadlines.
