Sessional Tutors for Northamptonshire Adult Learning Service
£24 422 FTE pro rata (NB: this is a zero hour contract, hours will be part time)
The Northamptonshire Adult Learning Service wishes to recruit experienced and highly motivated tutors to deliver part time courses in local venues across Northamptonshire. If you can create an exciting learning experience by inspiring and motivating our learners we would be interested to hear from you.
We have vacancies within some areas including:
- Languages
- Arts and Crafts
- IT
- DIY and Plumbing
We would be interested to hear from tutors that can work in all areas.
Tutors can work on different programmes within Northamptonshire Adult Learning Service. A mixture of daytime, weekend and evening courses are delivered. More information on each programme can be found with the links below:

What will you be doing?
To undertake scheduled teaching activities, student assessment and tutorials.
Provide support to learners including pre-course, on course and exit advice and guidance as directed by the programme management team.
Provide a scheme of work and other related information, including course and lesson planning and preparation of appropriate teaching resources.
Participate in training and other continuous professional development including induction, staff meetings, tutor forums and on-line training packages (including those related to Inspection).
