About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an 18-month Level 3 Business Admin Apprenticeship with North Northamptonshire Council.

North Northamptonshire Council is the single unitary council responsible for providing a range of public services to residents in the areas of Corby, East Northants, Kettering and Wellingborough.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Social Inclusion Team.

The post is for 37 hours per week, and the post holder will be based at the Kettering offices with one day per week provided for off the job training.

Interviews will take place during week commencing 18th September 2023.

What will you be doing?

The role will include jobs such as creating customer records, record volumes of correspondence received, provide clerical support to staff within the Social Inclusion Team and to support staff at our Drop in Desk and attend internal/external partner events when required across the North.

About you

You will have:

  • Experience of using Word and Excel
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Good communication skills
