About the role

We are looking for a passionate and committed Assessment and Enablement Worker with experience and knowledge of safeguarding. This is an exciting opportunity within the North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) Safeguarding Adults Team

We are seeking someone who is proactive and be able to use professional curiosity when protecting vulnerable people who are referred to us under the safeguarding process. 

This role is open to internal candidates only.

What will you be doing?

The role is mainly centred around information gathering and will require you to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A large proportion of the role will be working within our duty function, supported by social workers and principal social workers, this is office based with the expectation that you may need to visit people to complete safe and well visit checks.

About you

You will need to be able to work at pace, use a strength-based approach, prioritise effectively and work under pressure, exercising professional curiosity rather than take things at face value.
