About the role

The purpose of the job is to provide confidential administrative support to managers, using appropriate systems, procedures and resources. To also ensure a quality service is delivered to customers, North Northamptonshire Council policies and values are complied with and reporting deadlines are met.

What will you be doing?

This is a varied role:

  • Processing annual leave
  • Recruitment
  • Note taking
  • Booking staff onto training and recording certificates
  • Recording absence 
  • Archiving
  • Letters
  • Maintaining staff files
  • Ordering equipment
  • Answering the door/phone
  • Assisting staff with computer/mobile phones
  • Payroll
  • Petty Cash/GPC Card
  • Generally help colleagues with what ever task is needed.   

About you

Act with honesty and integrity and treat others with dignity and respect.

You need to be a person who takes pride in their work with a non judgemental attitude to others.

Able to prioritise their workload.

Communication is always clear and polite.
