About the role
Our Business Support Officers are very important to us. They perform crucial duties to support the teams they work for.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Wellingborough Hub as a Business Support Officer. You will be required to carry out specific administration tasks, in order to support the professionals in a busy team.
Applicants will be able to demonstrate good communication skills and be confident on the telephone. You will have a good level of IT skills with a sound knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel and have a good attention to detail. The successful candidate will be organised and be able to use their own initiative. We need someone who is able to work under pressure and to deadlines and who is friendly and reliable.
The main duties of the role are answering the phone, entering data on the database, maintaining spreadsheets and taking minutes at meetings. Support will be given on all aspects of the role from both team members and the other BSO’s within other Adult Social Care teams.
As the sole Business Support Officer within the team, your role is critical. However, we have a network of BSO’s within other teams who all support each other.
We have good training opportunities and you will be working within a supportive and friendly team.
The salary for this role is £21,970 and will be based in Tithe Barn Council Offices in Wellingborough.
