Then North Northamptonshire Council has a great opportunity for you to join us as our Resettlement Business Support Officer!

What will you be doing?

We are looking we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Business Support Officer with drive, initiative and confidence.  Reporting to the Communities & Wellbeing Project Manager you will help to develop the Refugee Resettlement Team and this is a truly unique opportunity to be part of this exciting journey of service transformation across North Northamptonshire.   

Your main focus will be on providing effective business and financial administration support to the refugee resettlement and relocation programmes across North Northamptonshire. 

Where you will be working: 

The team is currently based in Kettering, but NNC has a flexible working policy and supports hybrid working options. There may also be occasions where you will be required to work outside of normal office hours, which will be planned in advance.

About you

As the successful candidate, you will bring:  

• experience in delivering high quality financial services 

• experience of administrative work, including maintaining spreadsheets or databases, writing emails, and producing summary information from MS Excel 

• have outstanding communication skills, both written and oral  

• possess an abundance of drive and determination 

 

It would also be beneficial for you to have: 

• Experience of using ERP Gold or an alternative local government financial management system
