About the role
The CIAG Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring careers information, advice and guidance provision, supporting learners to make informed decisions about their learning and career pathways. The role includes responsibility for leading the service's Matrix accreditation, supporting the achievement of Gatsby Benchmarks, advising senior leaders on CEIAG strategy, and working closely with curriculum teams and external partners.
The post coordinates CIAG provision for our 16-19 Study Programme in Kettering (including group and one to one sessions for our young people), alongside our wider Adult Learning provision across the county, where delivery is supported through an external specialist organisation.
As part of the service's ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, the successful candidate will play a key role in a forthcoming review of CIAG provision. This presents a unique opportunity to help shape, refresh and relaunch our careers strategy, ensuring it meets the needs of learners, employers and communities across Northamptonshire.

This is a part-time role of 18.5 hours per week.
We recognise the importance of flexibility and are happy to discuss working patterns with suitable candidates. A fixed working pattern across 3 to 5 days per week can be negotiated.
Occasional evening and weekend working may be required to support learner engagement activities, open events, careers fairs and community events.
Please note:
