About the role

We are looking to recruit a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our vibrant, driven and hardworking Therapy North team.
What will you be doing?
Your overall purpose will be:
- To complete highly skilled and specialised occupational therapy assessments with the implementation of safe interventions which promote independence, minimise risk of hospitalisation and residential care.
- To specialise and lead in one or more OT discipline such as community, dementia, reablement, manual handling and any other developing professional area.
- To assist with the management and development of the Therapy team in Northamptonshire ensuring professional standards are met.
About you
Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
HCPC Registration.
Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development – CPD Portfolio.
This post will require satisfactory DBS clearance.
Computer skills-the ability to use all Microsoft products to a high standard.
Car driver with a full drivers licence, access to a vehicle or suitable transport during working hours.
Ability to demonstrate awareness / understanding of equal opportunities and other people’s behaviour, physical, social and welfare needs.
