About the role
We are seeking a motivated and capable individual to join our Complaints Adult Social Care Team as a Business Support Officer (BSO). This is a vital role that provides key administrative support to a busy and dynamic team delivering essential services within the community.
What will you be doing?
As a Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the team. You will be the primary administrative support within the team and will play a crucial role in maintaining efficiency and organisation. In return, you will benefit from a strong network of Business Support Officers across other teams who work collaboratively and offer mutual support.
Key Responsibilities
- Confident telephone manner
- Inputting and maintaining accurate data in internal databases
- Managing and updating a shared inbox
- Taking minutes during meetings and distributing documentation accordingly

What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence in handling a high volume of telephone calls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
- A proactive, reliable, and well-organised individual with the ability to use initiative
