About the role
The ideal candidate for the role will be responsible for advising and assisting the organisation in balancing its stance on cyber security, information management and statutory obligations such as PSN, PCI-DSS. You will be key to our strategy for North Northamptonshire, working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and other senior leaders across the county. You will also be Influencing, developing and working with all areas of the organisation, including our DPO and information governance teams on matters relating to security and information management.
You will also need to be familiar with working in a large enterprise organisation, showing a deep understanding of related practices and standards such as ISO 2700, being an expert in understanding new business environments, critical success factors and organisational culture.
This hybrid working role is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract.

About you
As a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certified you will be familiar with working in a large enterprise organisation, showing a deep understanding of related practices and standards such as ISO 2700, being an expert in understanding new business environments, critical success factors and organisational culture.
You'll also be a strong influencer with developed manager skills and the ability to delegate and empower others.
