North Northamptonshire is currently on an exciting journey to transform its infrastructure and services for its citizens . As part of this, we are looking for an experienced Cyber & Information Security Manager to join our growing Technology, Digital and Data Service.
We are building modern services and platforms and working to optimise our investments in technology and teams.
You will be key to our IT and Digital strategy for North Northamptonshire, working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and other senior leaders across the region.
What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for advising and assisting the organisation in balancing its stance on cyber security, information management and statutory obligations such as PSN, PCI-DSS.
You will also be influencing, developing and working with all areas of the organisation, including our DPO and information governance teams on matters relating to security and information management.
About you
You will be a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and be familiar with working in a large enterprise organisation. You’ll have a deep understanding of related practices and standards such as ISO 2700 and be an expert in understanding new business environments, critical success factors and organisational culture.
You'll also be a strong influencer with developed manager skills and the ability to delegate and empower others.
