About the role

General grounds maintenance to cover aspects of grass cutting, weed treatment, hedge and shrub pruning, sports pitch maintenance, flower bed care, litter picking, grave digging and back filling, driving council vehicles and operating grounds maintenance equipment both pedestrian and ride on.

 

The role covers the grounds services provision across North Northamptonshire

What will you be doing?

Successful applicants will be providing grounds maintenance across parks & open spaces, civic buildings and the highways network utilising modern equipment and best practises.

 

Maintaining accurate records and completing vehicle checks and equipment checks.

About you

Successful applicants will be enthusiastic with experience in the industry. Previous experience using tractors, ride on equipment and horticultural best practises would be advantageous.

 

You will be interacting with a wide variety of people on a daily basis and will need to be self motivated, being required to work on your own initiative, follow schedules and written instructions and possess excellent customer service skills.

 

A full driving licence is required for this role.
