About the role

Development is challenging, are you up for that challenge? The Development Liaison Team brings together the Council’s highway advice, highway adoption and highway agreement services supported by our partners in Kier Highways, this small but dedicated team needs you to meet the challenges ahead.
What will you be doing?
We have a new opportunity for you as a Highway Adoptions and Agreements Technician. You will provide technical support considering and processing requests from developers to have their roads adopted by the Council, working with them to enable them to work on the highway to implement highway improvements necessary to facilitate their developments and liaise with the Councils other services and partners to protect the interests of our communities and emerging communities. You will help our residents, house buyers, elected Members, MPs and developers with enquiries regarding our highway agreement and adoption services.
About you
You will have a high standard of education preferably at Degree level with a keenness to learn new skills, technical and legal processes and systems that underpin modern development engineering.
