Project Surveyor - Internal Applicants Only

What will you be doing?

As a Project Surveyor, you will:

• Lead the development, implementation, and review of the HRA Capital Programme.
• Maintain and update the Council’s stock condition and energy profile databases.
• Survey proposed works, prepare specifications, and manage tender documentation.
• Act as Project Manager, Contract Administrator, and Clerk of Works for major capital investment and new housing development projects.
• Provide technical support and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with tenants, housing officers, and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates, and planning applications.
• Monitor project progress, expenditure, and performance indicators.

About you

• Proven experience in housing development, capital investment, or building surveying.
• Strong project management and contract administration skills.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and statutory housing standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
