About the role
The Resourcing Assistant is responsible for supporting the recruitment and resourcing functions of the organisation. This will include assisting with the hiring process, maintaining records, co-ordinating interviews and ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process and journey for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Managing the recruitment and careers email inbox and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records, such as right to work, contracts and confidential data
- Admin support for all new starters onto the online system, including collating data provided to assist with development and improvement of system and process
- Help in tracking and collating data for recruitment reporting
- To be a point of contact for managers, to provide support and guidance

- Health and Safety and Risk Management, maintain a safe working environment
- Data Protection and GDPR, ensure legislation is understood and adhered to in respect of all working practices.

About you
- You will hold a good level of education with min GCSE C or equivalent in English and Maths
- You will have experience of supporting the recruitment process, policies and procedures
- Experience of using IT software including, Excel, Word and other Microsoft programmes
- Be able to work in a busy office environment and work as part of a team
- You will be able to show initiative and actively solve operational problems and resolve queries and suggest improvements
- Excellent organisation skills, absorb information quickly, manage time and prioritise including management of own workload
- You will understand the importance of handling confidential and sensitive information.
The post will require travel between North Northamptonshire Council Offices as required
