About the role

You will identify school placements for all pupils who move into or around North Northamptonshire, ensuring that all pupils of statutory school age have school places. Main duties are to ensure that the database is maintained accurately and that school places are allocated within given and agreed timescales.

What will you be doing?

School Admissions Officer - processing applications for school places via the co-ordinated admissions process or via the in-year admissions process.

Strategy – complying with the requirements of the School Admissions Code and council policies when allocating school places for applicants in North Northamptonshire schools.

Stakeholders – liaising with staff in schools to achieve timely admissions of pupils into schools and satisfying parental preference where possible.

About you

The successful candidate will be agile and flexible enough with the ability to work accurately, under pressure and to tight timescales will be required. Please refer to the person specification for the required and desired skills and attributes to the role.
