About the role

Managing a Team of Parking Enforcement Officers patrolling in uniform and identifying vehicles parked in contravention of parking regulations

• Planning deployment rotas using management information to ensure effective service delivery

  • Respond to the public in dealing with parking complaints, requests for enforcement, enquiries and enforcement matters
  •  You will work flexibly to cover a shift pattern Monday – Sunday, including bank holidays

• Full training in parking enforcement will be provided

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Parking Enforcement Officer, your day will be spent, working with a Team of Parking Enforcement Officers patrolling and enforcing through the issue of penalty charge notices against vehicles contravening the regulations. You will also be responsible for recruitment, training and development of staff. You will deal with identifying and responding to parking related matters through the deployment of staff. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to different situations and show assertiveness where required, whilst remaining calm and diplomatic, using effective communication skills. You must have good people skills and be willing to offer support, advice and assistance to colleagues and customers.

About you

  • Previous experience in an enforcement role, although training will be provided
  • Physically fit

 • Previous supervisory experience

• An excellent communicator providing a high level of customer service

• Computer literate, you will be able to apply these skills to using a handheld device

  • A Full UK driving licence holder
