About the role
We are offering the perfect opportunity to join our busy planning team for a qualified, experienced and professional Arboriculturist, with experience in a Local Government setting.
You will be conversant with legislation and practice relating to Tree Preservation Orders, Conservation Areas and trees on development sites and have some knowledge of the Planning system to assist with enforcement investigations.
You would be responsible for the preservation and protection of protected trees in processing treeworks applications and providing expert advice on issues to Planners, Enforcement Officers, Councillors and developers
