North Northants Council is recruiting within the Revenue and Benefits team for 3 Service Support Administrators who will support the day to day functions.  We will consider Full and Part time hours for these roles.

About the Role

As a Service Support Administrator  you will be responsible for monitoring the email inboxes and responding to enquiries for the team internally and externally as well as the daily post duties.  You will be the clerical support to the benefit officers to ensure reports, payments and day to day clerical tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated team player who is able to demonstrate a commitment to providing a high quality customer service, with the ability to prioritise and organise. 

What will you be doing?

As a Service Support Administrator you will be:

 

  • Dealing with the incoming and external post 
  • Monitoring the Inbox and replying and indexing onto our electronic document management system
  • Clerical support to the team 
  • Checking payments are received 
  • Dealing with reports 
  • Assisting the Benefits, Billing and Recovery team with recovery of monies 
  • Processing basic amendments to accounts

About you

You will require: 

  • 5 GCSE including English and Maths at Grade 4 or above or equivalent 
  • Good IT skills – word and excel 
  • 1 years experience in administration role
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Work well under pressure and deadlines
  • Good attention to detail 
  • Able to work on own initiative 
  • Able to collate and interpret information
  • Able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of equal opportunities
