About the role

We currently have 2 vacancies for Scheme Cleaners in our Sheltered Housing Schemes.  

Locations:  Hazeland House, Desborough and Madams Gardens, Rothwell.

Each vacancy involves working 10 hours per week, as agreed with the Scheme Manager, to ensure the cleanliness of the Sheltered Scheme communal areas.

We would welcome applicants who wish to be considered for one of the cleaning roles, or both.  Please state in your application which Sheltered Scheme you are applying for.

What will you be doing?

Duties include the general cleaning of all communal areas of the Sheltered Scheme as directed by the Scheme Manager including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuuming; the cleaning of internal window panes in communal areas; cleaning of toilets within the communal area; sweeping external areas; and cleaning bin store areas.

You will have experience of cleaning, and a commitment to providing a good service to the council's sheltered scheme residents.
