About the role
North Northamptonshire Council is looking for Social Care professionals with a passion to work alongside people in our community to help them live their best life.
Using a strengths-based approach, we utilise the Three Conversations model which allows people to tell us what is important and really matters to them, giving us the opportunity to find connections and resources that can help them to life the way they want to, either with support or independently.
We have a position available in Kettering in our Adult Social Care Inclusion Corby/Kettering team. Primarily working with adults with identified long-term outcomes arising from physical health, mental health and sensory impairment at Conversation 3 who have been identified as requiring a Care Act Assessment for formal services.
We are looking for individuals who:
• Exercise professional curiosity rather than accept things at face value or make decisions based on assumptions
• Demonstrate problem solving abilities, working alongside people to enable them to find their own solutions
• Have a real commitment to identifying and promoting people’s strengths, hopes and aspirations
If you are a qualified and registered Social Worker (including newly qualified) who meet these core values, and are committed to continuous professional development, we would love to hear from you.
