About the role
As a Team Leader you will directly line mange Employment Development Officers, and lead a team dedicated to providing supported employment across the whole of Northamptonshire. You will be required to attend local and out of county meetings that focus on performance, data management and presentation and forecasting. Meetings with key stakeholders, including Department of Work and Pensions, Jobcentre Plus, internal council teams, employers and training organisations will be an important part of your role. Flexibility to travel, and excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills will be essential. We are looking for somebody who can support and lead a team who manage complex and often challenging caseloads, whilst balancing the commercial reality of our contracts.
What will you be doing?
- Leading a supported employment team
- Managing staff, including 1:1s, observations and appraisals
- Performance management
- Analysing and presenting data
- Tracking performance and creating performance flightpaths
- Attending meetings in and out of county
- System management
