About the role

  • Delivery of swimming lessons within the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework stages 1-7, using the Learn2 system. This is includes school swimming lessons and adult & child lessons.
  • Maintain excellent levels of customer care
  • Plan and deliver a structured lesson
  • Record attendance and assessments

Casual cover is for staff holidays and sickness. Contracted hours available, this will be discussed at interview.

What will you be doing?

  1. To undertake Aquatic instruction to all levels from beginner to club standard
  2. To undertake the necessary planning for each lesson to ensure that the course demonstrates progression throughout.
  3. To undertake monitoring and evaluation of lessons as required.

About you

We need you to

  • Ensure the general safety and behaviour of the classes to prevent injury, misuse and damage to themselves, others or to the equipment.
  • Deliver excellent customer care.
  • Take registers and assessments on the tablet devices.? Preparing session plans (where necessary)
  • Keeping schemes of work (where appropriate)
  • Be a team player and effective communicator.
