What will you be doing?

The role will include but not limited to the following;

  1. To assist in turf maintenance including mowing, irrigating and control of pests and disease on the greens in order to achieve the level of operation and understanding required of the role
  2. To assist in the maintenance of bunkers, course, furniture, holes, and golf course grounds.
  3. In conjunction with the Head Green Keeper and green keeper understand which plant machinery is used for specific tasks
  4. To assist in ensuring the golf course is properly laid out and prepared for users of the facility and that a high standard of presentation is maintained.

About you

Priors Hall Golf Course, managed and operated by North Northamptonshire Council are searching for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Green keeper to join are dedicated team.

The successful candidate will be joining a very experienced team greenkeeping team, maintaining an 18 hole public golf course and surrounding grounds. Effective communication, both written and verbal is key, along with good time management and ability to work on your own and as part of a team with good use of initiative.
