Your differences make us different - #achievetogether

About the role

An opportunity has arisen within Housing in our Supported Housing Team to undertake the role of Control Clerical Assistant in our contact centre, on a casual basis.

The contact centre is the first point of call for our sheltered housing tenants. It also serves the wider community out of hours and operates 24 hours, 365 days a year.

What will you be doing?

The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive and reliable service for contact centre operations, including emergency response to calls from the community alarm service for frail, elderly and disabled tenants and residents. You will also be required to provide an efficient customer service for the out of hours emergency repairs service, to all Council housing tenants in the Corby area.

The role is offered on a casual basis to cover annual leave and other absence, so flexibility is key. Rotas are provided on a monthly basis, however you may also be called upon at short notice.

About you

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and be able to show empathy and compassion in sometimes challenging situations. You will also be a good problem solver, have good IT skills, and be flexible and adaptable to change.
