About the role

This is a full time permanent role working in the housing maintenance team. As a Cleaner you will work as part of the voids repairs team, to carry out empty house cleaning prior to the new tenant moving in and occasionally prior to the repairs being carried out. There may also be a need to remove previous tenant's belongings and some trade waste following completion of the repairs.

What will you be doing?

  • Cleaning empty properties ready to be let
  • Cleaning properties prior to repairs being undertaken
  • Removing belongings left behind when the property becomes empty. Including garden waste, carpets and laminate flooring.
  • Removing trade waste once the repairs have been completed
  • Completing the cleaning in a timely manner
  • Using mobile IT to update the computer records - training will be provided.

About you

We are looking for someone who:-

  • has a proven work experience as a cleaner
  • is physically fit to carry out cleaning duties including bending, pushing, lifting and handling equipment.
  • has a knowledge of basic cleaning equipment and materials
  • possess good communication skills including understanding/accepting instructions
  • has a full driving licence
