About the role
Priors Hall Golf Course, managed and operated by North Northamptonshire Council is searching for a highly motivated Golf Assistant to join their small dedicated team.
As a Golf Assistant you will be responsible for delivering an excellent Customer experience with the highest quality of work on the 165 acres 18 holes golf course and clubhouse, admired by both club members and pay and play customers.
The position is based on a 37-hour week, including early morning, evenings and weekends, worked on a rota basis; however flexibility will be essential, particularly over the summer months and leading up to and during competitions and large society events.
The Golf Assistant is to undertake general supervision of the Golf Course Club house facility on a daily basis as part of the operational management team to ensure the facility is ready to welcome visitors through the year.

About you
North Northamptonshire Council seek a highly motivated individual who has a keen interest in working in the leisure industry. The role will involve dealing with customers on a day to day basis either face to face, via telephone or email supporting them to access the golf course.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both when dealing with customers and staff. Teamwork and flexibility are also important skills required by candidates as no day is the same, so working with fellow staff to problem solve is vital to delivering the best possible customer experiecne.
