About the role

The Stock Condition Surveyor will be responsible for evaluating and documenting the physical condition of NNC properties and their assets. They conduct detailed inspections to assess the state of a property's structural components, systems, and amenities. 

The role is vital to NNC in creating comprehensive asset inventories, identifying maintenance needs, and strategising for long-term investment and sustainability, and ensuring properties meet regulatory standards and tenant expectations for safety and functionality.

What will you be doing?

The successful applicant will be carrying out Stock Condition Surveys to Council properties. You will visit properties appointed in your diary and carry out the survey on a PDA, including all major components and accessing the loft as part of the survey.

About you

You will have a good general education to GCSE Level or equivalent. BTEC Level III or equivalent in building related time served discipline. You will be computer literate and competent in Word & excel in an office environment. Able to work methodically and work to tight deadlines prioritising work as required. You will need a valid driving licence and access to a car.
