SEND IAS Service Manager

What will you be doing?

You will be developing this brand new service for North Northants building on the reputation of the former countywide IAS Service.

You will be flexible to be both reactive, responding to referrals and co-ordinating the service, and preventative, making sure that trends in use of the service are identified and passing that information to senior management for future planning and policy, and training. 

You will work closely with the caseworkers delivering the operational element of the service in conjunction with other LA, CCG, schools and colleges and voluntary sector organisations to feed into the wider planning of SEND Services within the locality.

About you

Educated to degree level you will have excellent communication skills and experience of interacting with a wide range of people. 

A good knowledge of SEND and Equality legislation and current practice is also essential. 

Experience in negotiation and management of situations under conflicting pressures is an advantage. Good project management skills and experience of partnership working are also required.
