About the role
The Senior Business Support Officer will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting the business process of an individuals journey in to Adult Social Care, within the Community Wellingborough Hub, Community East Northants Hub and the Inclusion Wellingborough and East Northants Team.
Their responsibilities will be to deliver and support high quality standards in relation to the business cycle, information systems, data recording and health and safety within the teams service areas. To provide complete, proactive administrative support to the work and financial systems. They will be responsible for arranging, supporting and minuting various meetings as and when required.
To organise and assist in the development of maintenance of business processes, to support operational staff and efficient service delivery. To raise awareness and knowledge for Business Support Staff, thereby contributing to the quality of service delivery, to maintain on a day to day basis the office equipment, information technology and office systems to ensure effective services.
Annual leave will increase to 33 days after completion of 5 years service.

What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will maintain on a day to day basis the office equipment, information technology and office systems, to ensure effective services.
They will participate in the recruitment of new team members and the induction of Business Support staff and facilitate their integration into the workplace.
To ensure our record and data management systems are maintained to high standard to enable staff to carry out their duties effectively and ensure Supported Individuals experience a high quality service.
Support the implementation and use of Information Technology to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team.
Provide an efficient response to requests to undertake the Protection of Property process for our Supported Individuals where required in line with statutory requirements.
To carry out any other duties which fall within the broad spirit, scope and purpose of this job description and which are commensurate with the grade of the post.
A full induction and training support will be provided.
About you
You will be educated to GCSE level, or equivalent, particularly including English and Maths. Have excellent IT skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
You will have a good understanding of office environments, record maintenance/management to devise and improve team processes.
To be able to demonstrate effective supervisory skills.
To demonstrate excellent organisational ability including the application of information technology, and demonstrate good written and verbal skills including telephone communication.
Have the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with ability to produce well-presented documents.
To be able to plan and allocate work effectively and efficiently, meet deadlines and work in an organised manner.
The ability to travel and attend alternate workplaces periodically, to support your supervised Business Support Officers. Business Mileage will be paid.
You will have excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi task and to both both as a team, and on your own initiative.
The ideal candidate will have a creative flair to maximise use of communication tools, optimise the impact of information sharing across the teams, supporting the teams agile working styles and working with leadership for solutions to delivering business as usual.
