About the role
Teaching Assistant:
Teaching assistants are required for the Learning for Life programme within Northamptonshire Adult Learning Service. A mixture of daytime, weekend, evening and online courses are delivered, although the majority of work available is within the daytime provision.
This is a casual contract and not a full time position. The amount of work you are offered will depend on the number and the type of courses scheduled. Please note that some courses might not be viable due to low enrolments and may be cancelled.
What will you be doing?
Teaching Assistants are needed to support on Family Learning courses and also required to support on Functional Skills and ESOL classes. For supporting on Functional Skills and ESOL courses a level 2 in English and/or maths would be an advantage.
The desired areas to cover are Northampton, Daventry, Wellingborough, Kettering and Corby.
