About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a part-time Team Manager to lead the Learning Disability Service for North Northants Council.  This role will also be key in helping shape our services and embedding the new ways of working.   You will be leading a team that delivers critical services into the community, part of these leadership responsibilities will include effective supervision and performance management.

This means engaging people in a conversational model which allows them to tell us what is important and really matters to them, and then taking timely action to support them to connect with resources that help them continue with their chosen life – either with support or independently.

What will you be doing?

You will be a critical analyser and able to dive deeply into issues and be part of creative and outcome focused solutions to achieve better results for people. You will be working with alongside another Team Manager and together you will be responsible for leadership and keeping senior managers informed of progress and issues.  You will manage a staffing budget and be responsible for reporting on any deviations in budget.

You will work with your principals on recruitment within the team and will adopt a robust induction programme.
