About the role

Housing Tenancy Support Officer Part Time

We’re not just restructuring – we’re reinventing how housing services are delivered. Come and be part of the change.

About the role

Do you want to make a real difference by supporting tenants to sustain their homes and thrive in their communities?

This is your chance to join North Northamptonshire Council’s Housing Management Service at a time of real change and investment. We are reshaping our services to be more visible, proactive and closer to tenants – and our Housing Tenancy Support Officers are a vital part of this transformation.

As a Housing Tenancy Support Officer, you’ll work directly with tenants who need extra help, providing guidance, practical support and links to other services. You’ll play a key role in preventing homelessness, tackling tenancy issues early, and helping tenants feel secure and supported in their homes.

You will be part of a service that is:

  • Visible and connected – smaller patches, stronger links with tenants and communities.
  • Supportive and responsive – tailored help for tenants who need it most.
  • Engaged and accountable – ensuring tenants’ voices are heard and acted on.
  • Cleaner and safer – working with colleagues to improve neighbourhood standards.

This is a rewarding and people-focused role where you’ll see the difference you make every single day.
