We are seeking a Stores Assistant to join the Housing Property Services Team responsible for delivering the repair and maintenance service for the Council’s 8,000+ tenants.
What will you be doing?
Working within the Business and Supply Team, you will be based at the Council’s Depot at Fleming Road, Corby, in our multi-trade stores. You will be responsible for receiving deliveries, issuing goods and materials to staff and monitoring and managing stock levels in a professional and efficient manner.

Ensuring accurate stock levels and control measures
Provide a high level professional service to aid colleagues in the efficient delivery of their provision
About you
You should possess experience of multi trade stores environment including knowledge of materials supplies and trade operations.
You will interact with a wide variety of people, and will need to be enthusiastic, methodical, self-motivated and possess excellent customer service skills along with PC skills.
The role entails a certain amount of physical activity and you must be flexible in your approach to work and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a key team.
A Full driving licence is required for this role.
