Do you have experience of working with vulnerable people at challenging times of their lives?
We are looking to recruit a full time Tenancy Support Worker within our Landlord and Tenancy Services Team.
Candidates should have relevant experience in supporting tenants with housing-related matters and an ability to form and develop good working relations with colleagues and service users.
You will need to have excellent verbal communication and presentation skills and critically, you will embrace the right of all service users to be supported to reach their full potential.
In order to provide Tenancy Support to our tenants, you will be professional, friendly, enthusiastic, trustworthy, hard- working and motivated.

What will you be doing?
You will be supporting tenants into and with NNC tenancies to help them sustain their tenancy.
This will include carrying out comprehensive risk assessments; providing essential support at critical times; and helping tenants improve independent living skills.
This may include assistance when moving into a new home or following a change of circumstances. The tenant may need support with applying for benefits; establishing contracts with utility companies; or accessing services from statutory or voluntary agencies by acting as an advocate.
About you
You will have ideally a minimum of 1 years experience of working in a similar post providing support and/or practical experience of assessment, support planning, key working and advocacy with persons/groups requiring support.
